Namiki Hyakka Ryōran is an exceptional limited edition inspired by the magnificent sight of flowers blooming together throughout the four seasons of Japan. Eleven different flowers are depicted across the expansive Emperor body, creating a richly detailed composition that celebrates the beauty and changing seasons of nature.
Created by Maki-e artist Yutaka Sato, signed Yutaka, the artwork combines multiple traditional Japanese lacquer techniques, including Hira Maki-e, Taka Maki-e, Togidashi Maki-e, Raden, and eggshell inlay. Layers of gold, silver, lacquer, and mother-of-pearl give the flowers, flowing water, and surrounding scenery remarkable depth and brilliance.
The pen is crafted in Namiki’s imposing Emperor size and fitted with the magnificent No.50 18K gold nib, complemented by Namiki’s traditional eyedropper filling system with shut-off valve.
