Nakaya Writer Portable Heki-tame features Nakaya’s classic Portable body with a practical clip, finished using the traditional Tame-nuri technique. The distinctive Heki color sits between blue and green, creating a deep turquoise tone with beautiful transparency and layered depth.
The translucent upper layers of urushi allow the underlying color to subtly emerge, giving the surface a rich and changing appearance under different lighting. As with natural urushi, each pen may show slight variations in tone, making every piece unique.
With its balanced 150 mm Portable size and comfortable proportions, the Writer Portable is well suited for everyday writing while retaining the refined character of traditional Japanese lacquer craftsmanship. It is fitted with a Nakaya 14K gold nib.
