Nakaya Cigar Long Aka-tamenuri is a classic expression of Nakaya’s traditional urushi craftsmanship. The elongated cigar-shaped body is finished in Aka-tamenuri, a deep reddish-brown lacquer with subtle transparency that reveals warmer red tones beneath the surface.
The color develops greater depth and character with use, gradually becoming more translucent over time. Its clipless design keeps the silhouette clean and understated, allowing the richness of the urushi finish to remain the focus.
The pen is fitted with a 14K gold nib and combines Nakaya’s elegant proportions with the distinctive warmth and aging characteristics of traditional Japanese lacquer.
