The Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Albert Limited Edition 4810 was introduced in 2022 as a tribute to Prince Albert, celebrating his cultural legacy and his remarkable relationship with Queen Victoria. Produced in only 4,810 individually numbered pieces worldwide, it forms a complementary pair with the Homage to Victoria Limited Edition 4810.
The fountain pen features an elegant pearl white lacquered barrel combined with a rich translucent burgundy lacquered cap, revealing an intricate guilloché pattern underneath. Signature gold-coated details complete the sophisticated combination of burgundy, white, and gold.
Many design elements reference the life and legacy of Prince Albert. The distinctive clip is inspired by Queen Victoria's royal sceptre and is set with a red synthetic stone. The cap top draws inspiration from the magnificent dome of the Crystal Palace, closely associated with the Great Exhibition of 1851, and is crowned with the classic Montblanc emblem in white precious resin.
The cap ring is engraved with the words treu und fest, meaning faithful and steadfast, reflecting the values associated with Prince Albert.
Completing the fountain pen is a handcrafted Au 750 solid 18K gold nib, featuring a special engraving inspired by Prince Albert's Saxon coat of arms.
With its deep burgundy lacquer, pearl white body, historical symbolism, and intricate craftsmanship, the Homage to Albert Limited Edition 4810 is a highly collectible Montblanc creation. Together with the Victoria 4810, the two editions form an especially meaningful pair celebrating one of history's most famous royal partnerships.
